As board certified pediatricians our practice refers most questions to the American Academy of Pediatrics web site first and then to others on our list. The AAP site has information on illnesses, developmental issues and other health topics for all stages of your child's life.

American Academy of Pediatrics page devoted to families. Parents can access immunization screening questionnaires, vaccine information, information on pediatric diseases, news articles and related resources.

This is a great site. It uses video as well as very up to date and interactive site information on vaccinating your children and the diseases that we continue to fight.

This site provides users with vaccine schedules, risk factors, and which vaccines are needed for travel.

The side bar on this web site offers users more than 20 vaccination profiles. Parents will also be able to find information on the science behind the vaccines. Web site is also in Spanish.

This site is committed to providing parents with the most up to date, scientifically valid information on immunizations.

The USDA put this site together and it is full of great information about eating the right foods. It has a section on how to eat right while you are pregnant and a section on how to balance your child's diet.

This site was written up by the Wall Street Journal as being a safe online Web Browser, Search Engine and Social Network for kids of all ages. It is free for the basic set up but you can add more by paying a subscription fee. It has games, pictures, YouTube videos and much more. It was developed by parents and teachers.The parent page gives the parent a warning as to where your child has tried to go on the web and was denied and other general information like time spent on the internet.

Fun web site published by PBS. It has a parents page as well as fun games and advice for kids about family, friends, school, body, emotions and money.

PBS has put this fun site together to teach kids that math is everywhere, everyone can be good at it, and it is fun. The parent and teachers page is full of more things that you can do with your child. This is a great tool for home school parents. It has Lessons and Activities you can access. Animal planet's web site gives helpful information on how to pick and take care of a pet. It also has a great section called Wild Animals A -Z.

This is great for kids to see and hear what different animals are like. You can order zoo books from this site or just enjoy the animals online. They also have games for the kids to play and different age appropriate pages.

If you have a child with special needs this is a great site for them. it talks about all the things that they are dealing with as a special needs child and gives them information on everything from staying healthy to games, kid's talk, recipes and lots more. This site is available in Spanish.

Fun site for kids with links to teen and parent pages of the web site. The whole site has to do with eating properly and exercise. There are games and many great links.
